BSNL 4G Services Launched in Kerala, Coming Soon to Other States

After Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance Jio, and Idea Cellular now BSNL has become the 5th telecom operator in India to provide the 4G service

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL has finally launched the 4G services in Kerala. Last week the state-run telecom operator has launched the 4G service in Idukki District of Kerala. Now Kerala has become the first state to get the BSNL 4G services. As of now in Idukki state, the BSNL 4G service is available in 5 circles i.e Udumbanchola, Chemmannar, Senapathy and Kallupalam under Udumbanchola Telephone exchange.

After Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance Jio, and Idea Cellular now BSNL has become the 5th telecom operator in India to provide the 4G service. In the forthcoming days, BSNL will launch its 4G services in other parts of the country too. The BSNL 4G service is now live in the district and all users of BSNL can experience the 4G speed of BSNL.

BSNL 4G Launched in Kerala

The 4G services of BSNL have started in Idukki a district in Kerala. All users can enjoy the service. If you are an existing user then you may need to replace your sim card with the new 4G sim. Users can exchange the old BSNL sim card with the new BSNL 4G sim card from the nearest exchange. And if you are new users then you will get the 4G sim at the time of new connection.

BSNL will soon expand its 4G services to other districts of the state and in other states. There is a shortage of necessary spectrum that is why the BSNL 4G service is launched in selected areas. BSNL has more than 1.2 crore users in Kerala and with the launch of 4G now every user will experience the better internet connectivity and high download speed.

BSNL Services in Comparison of Other Teleco Operators

BSNL has now launched the 4G service but it is only launched in Kerala and rest of the parts of India is experiencing the 3G speed of BSNL. But if we see the plans of BSNL is the only operator that is giving tough competition to its rival. Jio is offering unlimited data and similarly, BSNL is also offering unlimited data. In terms of Free calling BSNL is giving tough competition to all others. Airtel, BSNL, and Jio are the three telecom operator who is giving unlimited calls without any restriction and daily capping.

So if the 4G service of BSNL will launch in rest of the country then BSNL will directly compete with any other telecom operator with its plans and offers. But we still have to wait for the launch of BSNL 4G service in rest of the country. To recall, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited was the first operator wh started free incoming calls.
