Forget 4G, BSNL is Launching 5G Services in India | Check Launch Period & All Details

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is gearing up to launch the 5G services soon in India. The telecom operator has not yet launched the BSNL 4G services in Pan India yet. Only Kerala Circle has received the BSNL 4G services. According to the report of DNA, the state-run telecom operator has signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with ZTE, Nokia and with a Korean firm regarding the 5G launch. The telecom operator is also in talks with Japan’s NTT regarding the same.

BSNL 5G Launch Date

BSNL Chairman and MD Anupam Shrivastava, the 5G services of BSNL are expected to launch in India next year. For the launch of 5G in India, BSNL has signed MOU with ZTE, Nokia and with a Korean Firm. Every telecom operator has invested a lot n the launch of 4G network and for the launch of 5G, every telecom operator needs a huge capital expenditure. BSNL is the last to launch the 4G services in India (only Kerala yet) but is ready to launch the 5G services. So this is a direct jump from 3G with a small 4G step to 5G.

BSNL 4G Launch in Pan India

As of Now the state-run telecom operator BSNL is launching its BSNL 4G services in Pan India. The rollout of the BSNL 4G has begun from Kerala. BSNL is preparing for its 4G launch in all over India except the Delhi and Mumbai Circles. For settings 4G networks across in pan India, BSNL had given the contracts to ZTE and Nokia. The telecom operator has also asked the DoT (Department of Telecommunication) for the 4G spectrum allotment.

Well, if we see the current scenario, BSNL is not behind anyone in terms of its prepaid and postpaid plans. After Jio, BSNL is the only operator that is giving unlimited internet usage after the daily FUP.  All unlimited plans of other telecom operators except Jio and BSNL comes with daily data usage while BSNL and Jio are offering unlimited data usage after daily usage limit (slow speed data). The telecom operator has many plans (prepaid) that offer unlimited calls and data.

This month BSNL launched Holi Dhamaka Plan 399 for postpaid users, 499 plan and the BSNL loot lo offer. The 399 plan and 499 plan of BSNL are best if compared with Airtel, Idea and Vodafone postpaid plans.
