Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has revised the four plans in the Kerala circles that includes the BSNL Maximum Plan, BSNL Maha Plan, BSNL Combo STV 26 and STV 1099. This is a bad move by BSNL as the state-run telecom operator now limit the free calling minutes in these 4 unlimited plans. The plan now offers only 200 free minutes per day and earlier it was unlimited free minutes.
All these 4 plans now offer only 200 free minutes daily. There was no FUP on the free calling earlier but now if users will call beyond the FUP then they will be charged. This decision of BSNL for the revision of these four plans will surely disappoint the BSNL customers in Kerala.
BSNL Maximum Plan, BSNL Maha Plan, STV26 & STV 1099 Revised
BSNL Maximum Plan 999 – BSNL has recently launched the BSNL Maximum Plan 999 for all the prepaid users. When the plan was launched it offers unlimited calling without any FUP. But now there is a FUP of 200 minutes per day. After the 200 minutes, all calls will be charged as 20 paise per minute. Rest of the benefits remains same in the plan which includes – 1GB daily data usage, 100 free SMS daily and the validity of the plan is 181 days.
BSNL Maha Plan 949 – BSNL Maha Plan is also revised by the telecom operator. Now the Maha Plan of BSNl which costs Rs.949 will only offer free 200 minutes per day. Earlier in this plan, there is no FUP. The plan also offers 1GB data per day and 100 free SMS per day. The validity of BSNL Maha Plan 949 is 157 days. The data usage is unlimited as post 1GB data users will get a speed of 40 Kbps.
BSNL STV 26 – This is a two days plan of BSNL that earlier offers unlimited calling without any FUP and limit. The plan 26 of BSNL now offers only 200 free minutes per day which means now there will be only 400 minutes free in the BSNL STV 26. The plan 26 of BSNL also offers 100 free SMS per day and 150MB data usage.
BSNL STV 1099 – BSNL STV offers 3GB data per day and the validity of the 1099 plan of BSNL is 84 days. After the revision in the plan, the calls are now limited. Now, in the STV 1099, 200 free minutes are allowed in a day and beyond 200 minutes calls will be charged at 20 paise per minute. Earlier in this plan, all calls were free. The pack also offers 100 free SMS per day.
