Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has rare plans that offer maximum data. The telecom operator has recently launched a new plan for the users of Kerala circle under which the telecom operator is offering 4GB data per day. This plan of BSNL competes with the Jio 509 plan. Jio plan 509 also offers 4GB Data in the 509 plan.
Here are the full details and comparison of BSNL 379 plan with Jio 509 plan. But before continuing further let us tell you again that the 379 plan is only available for the users of Kerala and maybe in future, the plan will be valid on Pan India basis and on the other side the 509 of Jio is valid on Pan basis.

Calls Comparison – When it comes to free calling everyone knows that there is only one operator that is offering free unlimited calls in every plan and this is none other that Jio. Every plan of Jio offers unlimited calls. In the Jio Plan 509, all calls are free without any restriction of FUP. While in the plan 379 of BSNL, the plan only offers unlimited calls to BSNL numbers while for others there are only 30 free minutes for other numbers.
Data Comparison – Now coming to data comparison, both the plans offers 4Gb data per day. But the benefit is on the side of Jio as the data usage is unlimited. Once you exhaust your daily data usage limit, the data remains free but at low speed. Although many plans of BSNL also offers unlimited data usage but in this plan, there are no such conditions.
Validity and Other Details – Now coming to the validity of the plan. In terms of Validity, BSNL is ahead as it comes with a validity of 30 days while the plan 509 of Jio offers only 28 days validity. In the BSNL 379 plan, the telecom operator is not giving any free SMS while the Jio plan 509 offers 100 free SMS per day. Another thing is BSNL is not offering 4G services. The BSNL 4G is available in Kerala but only in selected regions. And on the other side Jio is totally 4G.
