In the month of January, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited gives a shock to its landline and broadband users by pulling back the Sunday free calling benefits. BSNL was going to stop the Sunday Free Calling from Feb 1st, 2018 but soon BSNL changes its mind and extended the free calling benefits for next three months. But no one month is crossed and there are only two months left. The BSNL Sunday free calling benefits will stop on April 30, 2018.

For all those who are unaware of the BSNL Sunday Free calling, BSNL is offering free calling on Sunday. There is no charges for calls made on Sunday. All calls are absolutely free. This is the only offer that makes BSNL different from all other telecom operators.
BSNL launched this offer in the month of August 2016. This was the biggest hit of BSNL that time and that is why many BSNL users don’t want BSNL to shut down this offer. Sunday is always an off day and it is the perfect time to call your loved ones. And that is why this offers of BSNL is loved by every BSNL users.
BSNL Free Calling Offer on Broadband Plans
BSNL is also offering free calling on its several broadband plans. The telecom operator has some dedicated plans that offer free unlimited calling with high-speed data usage. But the biggest threat to BSNL is the launch of Jio Broadband. So BSNL will have to prepare well for this. Reliance Jio Broadband Plan is expected to offer free data along with free calls. It will be interesting to see how BSNL will overcome this if the situation arises.
Well in case of prepaid plans, BSNL is the only operator that is giving tough competition to Jio. All BSNL plans that offers unlimited calling and data are similar to Jio plans. But there is one difference and that is BSNL 4G. BSNL is giving only 3G speed data usage while other telecom operators are giving 4G speed data. But soon by the end of this year, BSNL 4G will be available in the most of states in India.
As of Now, BSNL 4G is available in some districts of Kerala and BSNL is also planning to launch the service in other states too. For this BSNL has also partnered with Nokia.
