State Run Telecom Operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) has extended its broadband plan 249 and started offering Unlimited Internet. BSNL has shared this on its official Twitter Account. The BSNL 249 broadband plan offers unlimited Internet without any extra charges. Here are the full details of BSNL 249 Broadband Plan. Check it out what you will get in the plan.
BSNL Broadband Plan 249
Under the 249 broadband plan of BSNL, the telecom operator is offering unlimited data. The unlimited data comes with a limit of 5GB. It means that up to 5GB of internet usage, users will get a speed of 8 Mbps and after that, the speed of Internet will reduce to a low speed. Once the users exhaust the 5GB allocated data the speed of Internet will reduce to 1 Mbps from 8 Mbps. After the first 5GB, the data speed continues as 1 Mbps for the next usage of data. This speed remains constant for up to the next billing cycle. Simply this is an unlimited plan of BSNL.
According to the website of BSNL, the monthly Broadband plan of BSNL i.e BB249 comes with a monthly charge of Rs.249. There are no extra charges. The last date to avail the BB249 plan of BSNL is March 31st. This means users can enroll in the plan 249 of BSNL till March 21, 2018. The new plan BB249 is applicable for all circles of BSNL where it is providing its services. According to BSNL, the BB249 plan is not applicable in Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman and Nicobar.
Only New Broadband customers can avail the BSNL latest broadband Plan 249. This is restricted to the new users. There are no installation charges. During the promotional offer, all installation charges will be waived off. Customers will have to purchase the BSNL ADSL Modem for the connection and it is priced at Rs.1250.
BSNL Revised All Prepaid Plans and Started Offering Extra Data & Validity
BSNL has recently revised all of its prepaid plans. After the revision of the prepaid plan, the plans now come with extra validity and data. BSNL also launched the Happy Offer for all prepaid users and under the BSNL Happy Offer, BSNL added 5 plans in which the telecom operator is offering extra data. The plan included in Happy Offer are BSNL Plan 187, BSNL Plan 349, BSNL Plan 429, BSNL Plan 485 and BSNL Plan 666. BSNL 187, 349 and 429 plan offer 1GB daily data usage and the Plan 485 and Plan 666 offers 1.5GB data per day.
