The media reports have come out stating the price cut on the Jaguar F-Pace Sports Cross-over. As per some of the relevant and reliable sources, Jaguar F-Pace has cut down its price by 8Lakhs or more. This price cut occurred on account of the local production that started in Pune for this model.

Since the launch of this Jaguar model ‘Jaguar F-Pace’, the model has been selling in the market for Rs. 68.4 Lakhs. Recently, the news came out of the price cut of Rs. 8 Lakhs is going to hit this Jaguar F-Pace model. Jaguar F-Pace was launched in last October and has been selling well in India. Jaguar F-Pace is the 6th Jaguar Land Rover model that has made its place in the local manufacturing cars list. Prior to F-Pace, Jaguar XE, Jaguar XF, Jaguar XJ, Range Rover Evoque, and Land Rover Discovery were the Jaguar models that were assembled locally.
It has been observed that the locally manufactured models tend to sell on lower taxes than the ones which are fully imported. As per the norms, where the locally manufactured models are slapped with the tax of around 60 percent there, the fully imported models are levied with the tax of approximately 110 percent. The Jaguar F-Pace was launched in India as a Fully-Imported model. As per the recent words from the director of the Jaguar Land Rover, the step of manufacturing Jaguar F-Pace in India is one of the milestones to the complete vision ‘Make in India’ policy started by Indian Government.
