Calcutta High Court has released the notification for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Lower Division Assistant posts and invited applications from the eligible candidates for the same. Calcutta High Court Recruitment 2019 – All Details in Five Points
The procedure of filling the application form for the post of Lower Division Assistant Posts in Calcutta High Court has started online on 20th December 2018. The interested candidates can fill the application form till 19th January 2019. The last date to pay the application fee offline is 17th January 2019. The admit cards for the exam will be released in the month of February 2019.
The admit cards will be available on 9th February 2019 and after that candidates can download the admit cards. The last date to download the admit card is 24th February 2019. The tentative exam date for the OMR written exam is 24th February 2019. The merit list of the candidates will be published on 10th March 2019 (tentative).
The Selection of candidates for the post of Lower Division Assistant in Calcutta High court will be on the basis of Preliminary examination Stage 1, Comp[etitive Written Test Stage 2 and Viva Voce Test Stage III. The candidates who will qualify the Preliminary Examination will appear in stage 2 competitive written test. And the candidates who will clear the Stage 2 exam will be called for the Viva-voce.
The Preliminary examination will be of 100 marks. There will be 100 questions from the subjects Arthimatic, General Knowledge & Computer Proficiency, General Intelligence, and English. Each question will be of 1 marks and there will be negative marking too for the wrong answer. The marks of the Preliminary exam will not be carried forward to the next stages.
As per the official notification, there are total 200 vacancies. The details regarding the category wise vacancy can be checked in the official notification. The candidates of General Category and all other categories of other states will have to pay Rs 500 as application fee whole for the SC/ST category candidates of West Bengal, the application fee is Rs 250.
