After the release of admit cards, CAT aspirants are all set to appear for the written exam for the year 2018. Indian Institute of Management Calcutta has released some important instructions to be followed by the candidates during CAT Exam 2019. Check out the do’s and don’t for the candidates during the Common Admission Test for the year 2018 below.
Do carry your CAT exam admit card and id proof along with you, as one has to submit the admit cards to invigilator after the exam.
Also, the students have to make sure that the admit card must be affixed with a recent photograph and have a signature on the given space.
Candidates have to reach the CAT Exam 2018 centre for morning session by 7.30 am and for afternoon session by 1 pm. Although the candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes prior to the exam time.
No candidates will be allowed to carry their mobile, electronic items, jackets, bag, wallets, jewelry in the exam hall, All these things have to be submitted at the entrance itself.
CAT candidates must not use the keyboard at anytime, as this will lock the computer system.
No candidates will be allowed inside the exam hall after the mentioned time on the admit cards for the CAT Exam 2018.

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta has scheduled the Common Admission Test on 25 November 2018 according to the official website. Candidates are requested to download the admit cards for the same from the official website i.e iimcat.ac.in. Whereas the CAT Exam 2018 will be held in 2 sessions i.e morning and afternoon session. The morning session will be carried out from 9 am to 12 noon, whereas the afternoon session will be from 2.30 pm to 5,30 pm.
