CAT 2018 | Update on Syllabus For The Candidates by IIM | Check in Detail

CAT 2018: Indian Institute of Management (IIM Calcutta) has also released the syllabus for Common Admission Test for the year 2018. Although the online application form for the CAT Exam 2018 has been closed on 26 September. Now no candidates can register for the CAT Exam 2018 and get admission in IIM or any other B-School via CAT Score for the year 2018.

IIM Calcutta has been the conducting body for the CAT Exam for the year 2018. With the new conducting body comes fresh changes in the Common Admission Test Exam 2018. Check out the new syllabus and more details of the CAT Exam for the year 2018 below.

CAT 2018: Know Details of Syllabus & Questions for IIM Admission

Indian Institute of Management (IIM Calcutta) has released the syllabus for the Common Admission Test for the year 2018. Check out the all new syllabus and question paper pattern to be implemented by IIM for the CAT Exam 2018. According to the syllabus, there will be 3 different sections in the CAT Exam question paper for the year 2018. Further, here are the 3 different sections of the CAT question paper 2018- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA).

Out of the 3 different sections CAT question paper for the year 2018- VARC will consist of total 34 questions (24 MCQ and 10 non MCQ) of 34 marks. Whereas DILR will have a total of 32 questions (24 MCQ and 8 non MCQ) of 32 marks. Lastly, the QA section of CAT question paper 2018 will include 34 total question of 34 marks. According to this, the total marks of the CAT question paper 2018 will be of 100 marks and 100 questions.

CAT Exam 2018: Schedule, Timing & More

Indian Institute of Mangement, Calcutta has scheduled the Common Admission Test for the year 2018 to be held on 25 November. Although the online registration and application process for the CAT exam has been closed for the year 2018. Now applicants can download the admit cards for the same from the official website from 24 October 2018 onwards.

Candidates whosoever have registered themselves for the CAT Exam 2018 must keep a regular tap on the official website of CAT 2018 i.e iimcat.ac.in. We wish all the luck to the candidates appearing for the Common Admission Test for the year 2018.
