Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date for its affiliated schools to conduct 10th and 12th class board practical exams in January. As per the notification from CBSE, 10th and 12th class practicals for 2018 start from the 21st of January, 2018. The notification also mentions that all practical exams should end by 24 Feb and schools have to upload the practical exam marks on the official website by 25th February 2018.
With the CBSE datasheet for 2018 10th and 12th class exams been declared, it is assumed that CBSE will soon announce the date sheet for theory papers. Students of the 10th and 12th class who have to appear for their 10th and 12th class board exams in 2018 are awaiting the datesheet.
CBSE Board 2018 Practical Exams
As per CBSE, it is mandatory to pass in both theory and practical exams. Practical exams are conducted for various subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Physical Education etc. The pass percentage for 2018 has been kept at 33% by CBSE for both 10th and 12th class board exams.
CBSE 10th & 12th Class Datesheet 2018
If an update on the CBSE 2018 date sheet is to be believed, then many media houses reported earlier that 10th and 12th board exams 2018 will begin in March and not in February. This gives us an idea that the main exams for CBSE 2018 session will begin on 1st March. However, it is too early to say something as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is awaiting the election dates for various states so that the 2018 datesheet does not conflict with election dates.
It may also be taken into account that as per 2018 calendar, the festival of Holi is on 2nd December. So, some experts have said that CBSE might start the 10th and 12th board exams from 3rd March 2018 instead of 1st March.
Last year in 2017, the CBSE board had released the datesheet for 10th and 12th class on 9th Jan. Something similar is expected for CBSE Board 2018 datesheet for 10th and 12th class. As per reports, the CBSE will release 10th as well as 12th board 2018 datesheet on 10th Jan this year.
