CBSE Board 2018 Exam Answer Sheets Evaluation Likely From 19th March | Assistant Heads to Re-check Sheets

Answer sheets of students giving CBSE Board exams will be evaluated & re-checked by assistant heads

As CBSE is conducting 10th and 12th class board exams all across India, it has been said that the evaluation for answer sheets will most likely begin from 19th March. As per a news source from Times of India, it has been said that this time the evaluation sheets will be checked by teachers and then evaluated by assistant heads. Not just this, the answer sheets of students will then be evaluated by a coordinator. CBSE has also appointed a city head who will pick random answer sheets to check if they have been marked and evaluated properly.

All this is being done to keep the marking of answer sheets as transparent as possible. CBSE has appointed 3 assistant heads in Agra along with one city head. The same is expected to be done in other cities of India where CBSE 10th and 12th exam answer sheets of 2018 Board exams will be evaluated.

It has also been mentioned that the exam checking and evaluation procedure is most likely to begin from 19th March i.e. today. It is estimated that the checking of papers will go on until the end of April 2018 and finally students can expect the results of CBSE 10th and 12th board exams somewhere in May 2018.

Quality is one thing that CBSE has to ensure. Every year, many students go for a re-evaluation of their answer sheets and a discrepancy or maybe an unintentional error from a teacher cannot be ruled out. In order to give a perfect result for all 10th and 12th students who appeared for 2018 boards, CBSE has taken these steps to appoint assistant heads and city heads to look after the marking of answer sheets.

As per last year. this time the evaluation centres are less and CBSE is focusing more on quality and timely checking of answer sheets.

Once appointed teachers will do table marking for answer sheets, the assistant heads will go through the marked answer sheets to evaluate them further. These steps will be of great help to students as well as CBSE in ensuring a perfect result for 10th and 12th class 2018 board.
