CBSE Cancels UGC NET 2018 Exam, Candidates to Appear for Re-Exam this Week

UGC NET 2018: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the UGC (University Grants Commission) NET exam 2018. CBSE conducted the UGC National Eligibility Test for the year 2018 on 8 July throughout India. Although now, the Board has announced the cancellation of the UGC NET Exam 2018 and to conduct re-exam for the Allahabad centre students.

On 8th July 2018, CBSE held the UGC NET exam for the year and around 36,512 candidates appeared for the exam all over India. After the delay in the distribution of question paper in Allahabad, angry students blocked the highway and now CBSE to hold re-exam of University Grants Commission NET 2018.

CBSE Cancelled UGC NET 2018 Exam in Allahabad and Re-exam to held this week

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in Allahabad has canceled the paper of UGC National Eligibility Test for July 2018. Almost 600 aspirant has to appear for the re-exam to be held for UGC NET 2018 in Allahabad. It has been expected that CBSE will conduct the exam for Paper II of UGC NET 2018 in Allahabad in a week only. Although no official date has been announced by the Board yet for the University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test 2018.

Even it has been stated that the Board will intimate the candidates regarding the date and time of UGC NET 2018 re-exam in Allahabad via SMS or E-mail. Even the new admit cards for the same will be made available for the candidates on the official website i.e in a couple of days.

Here’s the Incident that leads to the Cancellation of UGC NET 2018 exam

On the day of the UGC NET exam 2018, students from SP Convent School in Bamrauli alleged that there has been a delay of 15 minutes in the distribution of question paper. After the delay, students got fierce and started blocking the National Highways in regards to the same. Even no clarification has been given by the centre official in regards to the delay of the question paper.

After the failure of the several attempts to make students sit back for the University Grants Commission NET exam 2018 made by the CBSE official, the Board cancelled the Paper II and will now take a re-exam for the same.
