CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2019: Passing Criteria Changed for Students | Know Details

CBSE Board Exam 2019: Central Board of Secondary Education has been planning to bring up change in the passing criteria of Class 10 Board Exam 2019. After Class 12 Board Exam changes, CBSE all set to announce the changes in Class 10 Board exam for the year 2019. Along with 2018 Board exam, CBSE has also made 2019 exam easier to pass for the Class 10 students.

After the official announcement of preponed of the Board Exam in 2019, CBSE has now been aiming to bring on few more changes. Although these new amendments are expected to help students to pass the CBSE Board Exam easily in the year 2019. Know details regarding the same below.

CBSE Board Exam 2019: Passing Criteria for Class 10 Students Changed

Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to change the passing criteria for Class 10 students in the Board Exam 2019. CBSE has been aiming to combine the theory and practical marks to 33% as passing marks for Class 10 students. As of now, Class 10 students have to separately pass the theory and practical exam with 33% each. Although as of now no official announcement regarding the same has been made by CBSE officials for 2019 Board Exams.

CBSE Chairman in 2018 only announced the one-time measure and combined the passing marks of theory and practical exam marks to 33%. Whereas it has been rumoured that CBSE will now soon extend the duration of the scheme for 2019 Board Exam as well. Soon, CBSE official will make an official announcement regarding the same.

Know more Amendments in the CBSE Board Exam 2019

In the month of September only, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the Class 10 and 12 Board exams for the year 2019 will start in the month of February instead of March.  According to the Board, Class 10 and 12 vocational subject exam will start in February month, whereas core subjects exam will begin from March 2019 only.

Along with the same, CBSE Board also made few amendments in the English and Maths subject question paper of Class 12 Board Exam 2019. Although soon CBSE will release the exam schedule for Class 10 and 12 Board exams 2019 on the official website i.e cbse.nic.in.  Students about to appear for the CBSE CLass 10 and 12 Board exam 2019 are requested to keep a regular tap on the official website for instant updates.
