The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally ended the rumors about the commencement of class 10 and class 12 board exams. CBSE has confirmed officially that the class 10 and class 12 exams will be commenced in March 2018. Students and parents who have been eagerly waiting to know the start time of CBSE exams will get a sigh of relief as the exams are beginning in March and not February. Earlier there was news that the board exams will begin in February to have more time for evaluation of answer sheets. As of now, CBSE has confirmed the beginning of exams in March, students will get enough time for preparation.
CBSE 2018 Board Exams to begin in March
CBSE has released an official notification on December 18, in which it confirmed the beginning of class 10 and class 12 exams in March 2018. The board has also directed the affiliated schools to nominate regular teachers for the evaluation of answer sheets of class 10 and class 12 exams. The board requires a large number of trained and experienced teachers to ensure the quality and error-free evaluation. The board also wants to get the process of the evaluation completed in time. CBSE has asked the affiliated schools to upload the data of teachers on the online exam portal by January 5, 2018.
The board has earlier proposed to begin the class 10 and class 12 exams in February to ensure the quality and timely evaluation of answer sheets. The news created panic and stress among the students as they will get lesser time for preparation. Brushing aside the proposal of early exams, CBSE has now confirmed that the proposal is in a nascent phase.

CBSE Practical Exams to begin in January 2018
The board has recently released the schedule for class 10 and class 12 practical exams. The Central Board is going to conduct the class 10 and class 12 practical exams in January 2018. The board has also sent the schedule of practical exams to the affiliated schools. As per the schedule, the CBSE class 10 and class 12 practicals will begin on January 16 and end before February 25. The board has not yet released the date sheet for theory exams that is expected to release in January 2018.
