CBSE Class 10 Students will be getting compensation marks in English Examination

In the form of a good news for all the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2018 students, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rolled out an official notice announcing the provision of the compensation marks to the students. In the recently conducted CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2018, students had faced a lot of issues in various subjects due to many issues like the paper leak and much more.

As per the released CBSE official notification, the CBSE Class 10 students will be getting a compensation of marks in the English paper. The students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2018 were a lot tensed because of the issues in the papers, the compensation of marks is a great sign of relief for them.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Board Exams of Class 10 & Class 12 every year of various streams. The CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2018 commenced on the 5th of March 2018 and went on till 4th April 2018. The students who appeared for CBSE Class 10 English Board Exam faced certain doubts during the examination and in context to the same, the CBSE Board decided to provide grace marks to the students.

As per the decision, all the CBSE Class 10 Students will supposedly be granted as many as 2 grace marks. Apart from the English Exam, the CBSE Class 10 Maths Board Exam was also leaked supposedly which came as a great blow to the students. The CBSE Class 10 Maths Board Exam was supposed to be held again but nothing of that sort happened later on.

Know Reasons For Grace Marks in Class 10 English Board Exam 2018 

The CBSE Board decided to grant 2 grace marks to all the students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 English Board Exam 2018 because of a typing error which was found in the English question paper. After considering the plea of several teachers as well as students, the CBSE Board decided to grant grace marks to the students for the English Exam which was held on 12th March 2018.

The typing errors in the paper were a part of the comprehension passage section in which the students were asked to write the synonyms for certain words which were not marked correctly.
