CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Exam 2018 shall be held as a re-test soon on April 25, 2018. The Economics re-exam shall be conducted due to alleged paper leak case this year.During the course of CBSE board exams 2018, two such exam paper leak cases surfaced in March 2018.
First, CBSE Class 10th Mathematics board exam got leaked. In the second case, Class 12th Economics subject question paper was leaked. CBSE had decided initially to re-conduct these leaked exams but recently Class 10th Maths board re-exam decision was scrapped.

Class 12th Commerce students are still yet to appear for their Economics board re-test this year. Scheduled to be held on April 25, 2018, the Economics re-test is scheduled after a month of its original exam. Many students protested against the decision of re-conduct of CBSE board exam 2018 leaked papers.
Some of them even moved to the Supreme Court demanding justice, but even SC dismissed the appeal. Although, students of Class 10th are now exempted from taking the re-test, CBSE Class 12th Economics exam shall be held this month. CBSE recently released a notification on its official website citing details about the decision.
In the circular, the board has clearly stated that since Class 12th board exam marks and percentage form a criteria for higher education purposes, hence it was all the more necessary to re-conduct the leaked exam paper.
CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Exam 2018 | Know Who All Are Exempted From Taking CBSE Re-tests
Some of candidates are exempted from taking these exams. CBSE would not conduct Class 10th Maths re-test. Hence, CBSE has exempted all the students from taking the same. There are some fortunate ones from Class 12th Commerce stream who are exempted from appearing for CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Re-exam 2018.
Students who are studying in the schools outside India affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education are exempted from taking the CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Exam 2018. The board has stated that the leak did not affect students who studied in foreign countries outside India in CBSE affiliated schools.
Therefore, no such student is liable to take the re-test of CBSE Class 12th Economics Board Exam in April 2018. CBSE in its notification released explicitly states its decision.
