CBSE is Offering Scholarship to Girls Who Scored Above 60% in Class 10 | Check Eligibility & Process Details

Applications are being invited by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in context of the CBSE Merit Scholarship for all the single girl child. This CBSE Merit Scholarship is applicable for the girl students who are the only child of their parents and wish to continue their higher education post Class 10.

All the single girl students who wish to apply for the CBSE Merit Scholarship should get familiar with the application procedure. This scheme has been offered by the Central Board of Secondary Education with a view of providing recognition to the efforts of the parents to educate their single girl child. All the meritorious students who will be clearing the eligibility will be getting the CBSE Merit Scholarship.

CBSE Merit Scholarship For Single Girl Child | Eligibility & Scholarship Rate 

All the single girl child of their parents who have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their Class 10 Board Exams are eligible to apply for the CBSE Merit Scholarship. The students who wish to continue their studies in the Central Board of Secondary Education affiliated schools can apply for the scholarships. NRIs too are eligible for the scholarship. The tuition fees of the students per year should not be more than Rs. 1,500 per month and the same for the NRIs can be extended to an amount of Rs. 6,000 per month.

The rate of the CBSE Merit Scholarship lies to Rs. 500 per month and the same shall be transferred through ECS or NEFT. The renewal process of the scholarship will be paid for a period of 2 years and it will be renewed once the child passes Class 11. The continuation of the scholarship is also based on the grounds of regularity as well as good conduct.

The affidavit should also be prepared and attested by the higher official authorities as well as the School Principal after passing the CBSE Class 10 Board Exams.
