Releasing an update pertaining to the ongoing controversy of inclusion of state board’s syllabus and questions in the upcoming scheduled NEET 2018 examination, CBSE confirms the same via the release of an official notification stating the exam’s syllabus to be the same as that of NEET 2017 last year. The ongoing controversy pertaining to the syllabus change of the NEET 2018 exam serving as a medical entrance test for gaining admissions into the prestigious MBBS & BDS courses in the colleges of repute has been the talk of the town lately. With authorities initially planning to include the syllabus and questions from the state boards apart from the CBSE pattern & syllabus to bring uniformity in the conduct of the NEET 2018 exam, the move invited wide stage social media protests from parents and students.
They feared that the change of syllabus at the eleventh hour would hamper their preparation mode & strategy and eventually their performance in the exam. While, no such decision was taken officially by the authorities of the NEET 2018 exam, CBSE aimed to consider the state board’s syllabus in the inclusion list of test syllabus.

Bringing a sigh of relief to the aspirants of the upcoming NEET 2018 exam scheduled to be held on May 10, 2018 by not changing any syllabus or curriculum for the test, the CBSE board has now released an update wherein it clearly states that the syllabus for the National Eligibility Entrance Test 2018 for Undergraduate Admission remains exactly the same as that of NEET (UG) 2017 exam last year. The students need not worry about the changing syllabus of the exam anymore as per the rumours and speculations which bewildered them.
