Clearing doubts on CBSE Class X Mathematics re-exam post its confirmed leak, here're updates about the re-conduct of the test.

CBSE Class 10th Maths board exam 2018 post its ‘confirmed’ leak created confusion in the minds of students about its re-scheduled dates. Two CBSE board exam question papers were leaked as per reports this year. The dates of re-conducting CBSE Class 12th Economics board exam 2018 are out now.

No such information is available for Maths test for Class 10th students. HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar cleared confusion over the same by stating some facts. Here’s all you need to know about CBSE Class 10th Maths board re-exam 2018.

While the new dates for holding the CBSE Class 12th Economics exam 2018 are out online. CBSE will conduct re-test for the Class XII Commerce students on April 25, 2018 now. Anil Swarup, Education Secretary announced the details about re-scheduling CBSE Class XII Economics exam.

Soon after confusion over Class 10th Maths exam re-conduct took over the nation. Clearing all these confusions, HRD Minister took to his twitter to state details about the same. No fixed date for Class 10th maths re-exam has been revealed due to various factors.

Delhi Police is investigating the CBSE paper leak case 2018 for both the classes for board exams 2018. There is still confusion over the extent of leak in Class 10th Maths question paper. As per the investigation right now, only Delhi NCR and Harayana regions are affected with the leak of Class 10th Maths paper.

More than 16 lac Class X students took the test across the nation. CBSE Class 10th Maths paper leak case affected an estimated number 2 lac students. They belong to the regions Haryana and Delhi NCR.

Taking to the social media, Prakash Javadekar stated that the investigation is on. Authorities will only conduct re-test if  there is a case of leak on a large scale. Authorities would give a decision on the issue based on the findings of the investigation, within 15 days.

Also, much clarity on who would be eligible to take the re-exam for Class 10th Maths board exam 2018, the HRD Minister ruled out the students.

In his tweet, he stated “Class-X students from J&K, Uttarakhand,Himachal,Punjab, Chandigarh,Rajasthan,UP, Bihar, WB,North eastern states, Jharkhand,Odisha,Andhra, Telangana,Karnataka,TN, Puduchery,Andaman, Lakshadweep,Kerala, Karnataka, Goa,Maharashtra,Gujarat,MP, Chhattisgarh,will not give Maths retest.”

Also, if there would be a need to hold Class 10th Maths re-exam for the affected students, the test will be scheduled in July 2018. For more details and updates, check CBSE official website online.
