CBSE students, teachers and parents can now order NCERT books online. Authorities will ensure that they deliver the books at your doorstep when ordered online.
So, parents now do not have to stand in queues to get NCERT books for their children during the rush of beginning of the session. You simply have to place the order online and NCERT will deliver the bundle at your specified address.
CBSE Students Can Now Get Free Home Delivery of NCERT Books Online
More than 3500 CBSE affiliated schools had placed online order for the NCERT books. NCERT has delivered updated version of textbooks for all the classes to the schools for the current academic session. These schools had registered at the web portal of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) to place the order.
The efficient working of the system is so phenomenal that more than 2.5 crore NCERT books have been delivered. These deliveries are done to schools, vendors, booksellers and parents as well. The web portal for registration for ordering NCERT books online was launched last year in August 2017.
Here’s How You Can Order NCERT Books Online & Avail Free Delivery
For those who wish to place order for NCERT books online shall have to register for the same. Visit the official website of NCERT at www.ncertbooks.ncert.gov.in online. Then you need to log in and click on order NCERT books online. All the textbooks of various subjects are available from Class 1 to 12.
Add the textbooks of each subject you wish to place order for. Then proceed to payment via net banking or debit/credit cards. You can also order the complete NCERT set or its individual books online. NCERT has previously contacted giants to collaborate for delivery of the books.
The same could not be done as they charged delivery fee for the same. NCERT decided itself to deliver the textbooks for CBSE students and others for free. This step indeed has saved parents from getting traumatised every year in the hands of money minting booksellers selling private publishers in lieu of NCERT textbooks. The issue of non-availability or shortage of NCERT books is also ruled out with the move.
