Central Board of Secondary Education in its recently released marking scheme notification for the upcoming scheduled CBSE Class 10th board exams 2018 has revealed some exclusive details about the evaluation strategy adopted by the teachers this year. The Central Board of Secondary Education board has issued guidelines for teachers to be followed while evaluating the CBSE Class 10th maths board exam 2018 this year. The board has announced to award proportional marks to the candidates who attempt the mathematics exam of Class 10th board set by the board in March 2018 for the alternative methodology adopted. The most sought after CBSE 2018 board exams scheduled in March requiring rigorous preparation is of the Mathematics subject for which details have been mentioned herein. The marking scheme as released by the CBSE for both Class 10th & 12th board exams 2018 date sheet cum time table for which is the highly awaited notification at cbse.nic.in i.e. board official website online. The board has directed the teachers marking the Central Board of Secondary Education Class 10th Maths exam board paper this year to award step-wise marks to the candidates who attempt the question in that manner.

Also, the board has iterated that the candidates attempting the exam paper with his own method which could be alternative to the CBSE board but conveys the same meaning should be given full weightage without any bias. Furthermore, this should be done by awarding proportional marks to them for their alternative methods adopted while justifying one’s marking. The Central Board of Secondary Education has also stated that the marking scheme as declared by the board should be religiously followed and strictly adhered to.
