CBSE has activated a helpline number for telephonic counselling sessions for stressed out students of Class 10th & Class 12th who are all set to appear for the CBSE board exams 2018 in March this year. With just a month left for the Class X board examinations to commence for the students studying in current academic session of CBSE affiliated schools across the nation, the board of education with its thoughtful move has now launched a ‘telephonic psychological counselling service’ for the CBSE Class 10th & 12th board exams 2018 aspirants. The helpline number for telephonic counselling session for the students shall be active from February 1, 2018 which shall remain functional till April 13, 2018 i.e. till the last date of board exams this year.

In order to reduce the exam stress of candidates who shall be taking the annual board examinations conducted by CBSE for both Class 10th and 12th, the Central Board of Secondary Education constituted a panel of around 91 people from various educational backgrounds to deal with the queries of students. The panel consists of school Principals, educationists and exam experts selected by the CBSE board out of which 71 of them are located in various cities across the nation while 20 such members are in foreign land to cater to the students’ exam related query and guidance in relieving their exam stress prior to taking the CBSE Class 10th and 12th board exams commencing from March 2018 this year.
This is surely an outstanding initiative taken up by the education board for the students studying in CBSE affiliated schools within India and even abroad. Also, this shall enable efficient preparation and strategic analysis and review from none other than authentic CBSE sources for the anxiety struck student appearing for board exams in March 2018.

On dialling, the students shall be addressed by a call operator and shall be further connected to the educationists for exam related queries and to counsellors for stress and anxiety management related queries.

Also, the CBSE board of education shall entertain students’ query via a weekly column in a national daily to have a wider scale of reach.
