Chandigarh to Host 4-Day Interior Exterior Expo at Parade Ground, Sector 17

Chandigarh, February 22, 2017: A four-day interior-exterior expo is being organized at the Parade Ground in Sector 17 from February 24 to 27. The INT-EXT EXPO would showcase more than 200 exhibitors who will present the latest trends in the world of interiors, elaborating technology, innovations, equipment and concepts for the Architects & Designers’ community.

It is being held in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Architects, supported by Mohali Industries Association and Mohali Hi-Tech Metal Cluster. Giving the information, Ar. Sanjay Goel, Chairman IIA, Punjab Chandigarh Chapter, Sanjiv Vashisht, President Mohali Industries Association and Mr. B.S. Anand, Director, Mohali Hi-Tech Metal Cluster informed, “The changing needs of modern living are identified in such exhibitions which motivate the manufacturers and service providers to meet the requirements of the users.”  As we are moving towards modern and smart living, it is imperative to have an exposure to latest gadgets.  Such Events provide an exposure to latest trends for smart and healthy living.

Mr. G.S. Dhillon, Director Udan Media and Communications Pvt. Ltd, organiser of this Event informed that the products being showcased include luxurious home needs and interiors, imported furniture, designer fans, home automation, dining sets, office furniture, ethnic carved furniture, decorative lamps & lights, modular kitchens, cutlery and crockery, pots and murals, blinds, aquariums, artifacts and handicrafts, bunker beds, glass paintings and decorative items, chimneys and hobs, carpets, massage chairs, health equipment, 3D holographic sculptures, carved wooden doors, home décor products, furnishings, artificial gardens, UPS, garden furniture, landscaping, upholstery, frames and paintings, etc.

Architect Surinder Bahga, member Advisory Committee on UTs to Home Ministry of India, said, the objective of the expo is to provide the latest trends in interiors and exteriors under one roof. “With changing trends in interior designing and architecture, it is imperative to make our living, working environments smarter, beautiful and healthy. The interior and Exterior Show is an exhibition catering to the needs of people who are looking at beautifying their homes and offices and also for those who are coming up with new buildings”, he said adding, the show will cater to the needs of architects and designer artists, builders, corporate houses, Vastu consultants, educational institutions, etc.

The objective of the event is to provide the latest trends and technology to our citizens to turn their dreams into reality. During the four-day event, about 40000 visitors are expected to visit.  The Expo will not only provide an opportunity to users but substantial business queries are expected to be generated.
