After Yuvraj Singh, Chandigarh boy Siddarth Kaul makes an entry in Indian Cricket Team. A Pacer in Punjab team, Siddarth Kaul hails from the city beautiful Chandigarh & now is all set to fit in the blue jersey of Indian Cricket team for India-Sri Lanka matches. Punjab pacer got a call from BCCI for the final selection in the team when he was preparing in Amritsar for Ranji trophy match.

Handwork & dream of playing in the Indian Cricket Team has pushed Siddarth Kaul to be what he is today. Chandigarh boy Siddarth Kaul has numerous achievements in his name in the field of Cricket- check the same below.

Chandigarh boys Siddarth Kaul makes it to Indian Cricket Team

27-year-old Siddarth Kaul is a resident of Chandigarh & a well-known pace bowler of Punjab’s Cricket Team. And now he has been selected for the India-Sri Lanka ODI & Test matches. Siddarth Kaul has been from the sportspersons family only, as his Tej Kaul has been the physio of Indian Cricket Team in the early 90s whereas his mother is also a gymnastics coach in Sports Authority of India. Also, the elder brother of him, Uday Kaul has been playing with Punjab Cricket Team as a Wicketkeeper.

After getting selected for the Indian Cricket Team for the India-Sri Lanka Matches, Siddarth said that although the opportunity has come late to me, but I am thankful to god atleast has come. But now when it is here I will not let it go easily & give my best to it.

And here’s the achievements of Siddarth Kaul in Cricket

A resident of Chandigarh, Siddarth Kaul has been the part of U-19 Indian Cricket Team in 2008, who won the World Cup under the captaincy of Virat Kohli in Malaysia. In 50 first class domestic Cricket matches, Siddarth Kaul has 175 wickets. Even the Chandigarh boy has played IPL matches from Sunrisers Hyderabad team last year & scored 16 wickets in 10 matches.

Siddarth will be playing the first 2-ODI matches against Sri Lanka in Dharamshala (Himachal) & Mohali under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
