As per the recent changes going on in the Chandigarh International Airport in respect to the runway modifications, the flight schedule has been changed frequently. Recently, the number of flights reduced significantly and the changes are still coming forth as per the winter schedule. The CHIAL that is Chandigarh International Airport Limited has recently released the winter flight schedule. This new flight schedule is going to be implemented from 29th October 2017 to 2nd December 2017.
Winter Flight Schedule For Chandigarh International Airport
CHIAL has released the new winter flight schedule for the Chandigarh International Airport that is going to be implemented from 29th October 2017 to 2nd December 2017. Currently, the number of flights were reduced significantly and with this new winter schedule out, the number of flights are going to increase to 30 from 28 [currently]. Also, as per the sources, you can still expect certain changes in the flight schedule after 2nd December 2017.
In this New Winter Flight Schedule, Jet Airways, Air India and Indigo are expected to operate 7 flights each and the Spice Jet is going to operate 4 flights and there has been no change in the Vistara and Air Asia Flights.
Also, as per the recent news the airport is going to remain closed for 15 days in December or January [The time has not been specified]. This decision is on the account of the runway updating.
New Flights that are Starting Between Delhi-Chandigarh-Delhi as per New Winter Schedule
As per the new winter Flight schedule declared by CHIAL, there are going to be some new flights connecting Delhi and Chandigarh. The new flight dedicated for this will constitute 72 seats and will operate on fix times throughout 6 days of the week that is from Monday to Saturday. The arrival time of this Go Air flight will be 6:55 AM and the departure time for the same is going to be 7:25 AM.
On account of the renovations going on for the runway of the Chandigarh International Airport there has been dump in the number of operating flights. With this new Winter Flight Schedule by CHIAL, the number of flights operating has increased. Also you must be familiar with the Kullu-Chandigarh flight connection and Dubai and Chandigarh flight.
