Meet Yogi | The Mascot for Chandigarh Yoga Festival 2016

Hey Yogi, you look cool while doing Yoga.

Yogi is the official mascot for Chandigarh’s Yoga Festival which will be a 4 day festival with a series of events to promote Yoga in Chandigarh and prepare the city for International Yoga Day on 21st June 2016.

Mega event for International Yoga Day 2016 will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Capitol Complex, Sector 1. Many prominent personalities from Bollywood and other spheres are expected to attend the event and give the world a message promoting Indian Yoga.

The mascot – Yogi has been taken as a symbol to attract people. Mascot has been shown doing a yog aasan with a smile on his face. The cute mascot represents mongoose, which is the state animal of Chandigarh.

Chandigarh Yoga Festival is being held for 4 days from 9th June to 12th June. Many events have been planned for the same that would take place at Sukhna Lake, Parade Ground in Sector 17. A run for Yoga will also be organized.
