The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2018 will begin registration of candidates who are seeking admission in the law colleges across India. CLAT is one of the all India level entrance examinations for legal studies, that is conducted by the National Law Universities (NLUs) for those who seek admission in the undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
CLAT 2018 exam pattern
Talking about the CLAT 2018 examination pattern, it will be a two hours law entrance exam that will be done online. The candidate appearing for the test will have to attempt 200 multiple choice questions on which they will get scored out of 200 marks. Writing and qualifying the CLAT 2018 can only get through the admission process of the candidates in the law colleges that are participating in this national level law entrance test.
There will be various questions in the paper from subjects including English, GK and Current Affairs, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Each subject will be segregated into sections and different marking scheme. Like every year, there will be over 6o plus examination centres across India this time as well. The centres for the examination have not been announced yet, officially but going by the last year’s trend the CLAT 2018 examination is likely to take place at Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bhopal Bhubaneshwar, Coimbatore, Jammu, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun Guwahati, Amritsar, Kochi, Kota, Jaipur, Lucknow, Raipur, Pune, Vishakhapatnam and other locations.

Here’s schedule for CLAT 2018
The CLAT 2018 notification was released on December 20, 2017, while its registration process will begin from January 1, 2018. On this date, the online window for application will get opened and candidates will be able to pay their fees for the exam. The last date to fill up the application forms online and fee payment are March 31, 2018. That date the registration will stop and the online window to apply will also close. The admit cards for the same will be given on April 20, 2018, whereas the final exam is scheduled for May 13, 2018. Candidates can check the answer key online (provisional) on May 15, 2018, while on May 16, 17 and 18, answer key representation will be made if there is any, followed by results that will be announced on May 31, 2018.
The first round of seat allocation (indicative) list will be published on June 7, 2018, which will be on merit-cum-preference basis. After all this, CLAT 2018 counseling will be held on June 6 and 7 and the candidates can pay Rs 50, 000 as counseling fees on June 08 to 12, 2018. On June 16, 2018, the second list of seat allotment will be out after which the selected candidates can make the payment of the counseling fees in the next 2-3 days time. June 19 is the last date to withdraw from the admission procedure. The third list of seat allotment will be released on June 24 after which admission process will close on July 06, 2018.
