Council of Scientific and Industrial Reseach (CSIR) has released an official notification for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018. CSIR UGC NET 2018 Exam – Important Details
Important Dates – The online application process for the CSIR NET exam 2018 has started from 5th March 2018. The last date to fill the exam form is 26th March 2018. The admit card for the CSIR NET exam 2018 will be available in the first week of June 2018. The exam date for the CSIR NET 2018 exam is 17 June 2018. This is the tentative date for the single MCQ type paper. The list of candidates registered for the exam will be published on 15 may 2018. The CSIR UGC NET 2018 exam will be held in Morning shift (9 am to 12) and evening shift (2 pm to 5 pm).
Application Fee – For General category candidates the application fee is Rs.1000, candidates belonging to OBC category, the application fee is Rs.500 and candidates of SC/ST/PH category there is Rs.250 application Fee. Candidates can pay the application fee via credit card, debit card or by net banking.
Admission Details for CSIR UGC NET June Online Form 2018
Course Name & Subjects – The course name is National Eligibility Test June 2018. Subjects included are – Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Science, Chemical Science, Life Science, Physical Science, Mathematical Science.
Education Qualification – Candidates who have completed MSc or equivalent with at least 55% marks can apply and for SC/ST and PH candidates 50% marks are minimum marks required to apply for the test. All BE/B.Tech / B.Pharma and MBBS degree holders can also apply for the CSIR NET exam 2018.
How To Apply – Before applying online for the CSIR NET exam candidates are advised to read the notification carefully which is available at CSIR HRDg website. All interesting candidates can apply on the official website of CSIR from 5 March 2018 to 26 March 2018. After filling all the details in the application form candidates will have to upload the scanned photograph of size less than 150 KB, scanned signature of size less than 150 kb, the degree qualifying certificate, category certificate and caste certificate.
In any case, if a candidates want to change the exam centre then he/she will have to send a hard copy with a letter of request for exam centre change to CSIR. The last date for this is 19 April 2018.
Age Limit – For the post of JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) the maximum age limit is 28 years and for Lecturer / Net, there is no upper age limit. Age relaxation is as per the rules.
