CSIR UGC NET 2018 Exam on 17th June | Admit Cards To be Out Soon – Check Important Dates

CSIR UGC NET 2018: Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) will release the admit cards for the CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018 for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship in the month of June. CSIR UGC NET is the National Eligibility Test by University Grants Commission. The tentative date for the Single MCQ Examination for the National Eligibility Test by the CSIR is 17th June 2018. To recall, in the month of March, CSIR invited online applications from the candidates for the Joint CSIR UGC NET Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship.

CSIR UGC NET 2018 Admit Cards

According to the official notification, the admit cards for the National Eligibility Test (conducted by CSIR for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship ) will be out in the Ist week of June. The CSIR UGC NET 2018 exam will be conducted on 17th June. The admit cards for the CSIR UGC NET will be released in between 1st to 10th June. Candidates are advised to keep a regular check on the website of CSIR for the admit cards from 1st June.

CSIR UGC NET 2018 – Important Dates

The application process for the CSIR UGC NET exam started on 5th March and closed on 26th March. The admit cards will be out in the first week of June and the Online MCQ Exam of CSIR UGC NET will be conducted on 17th June 2018. The final result of the Single MCQ Test of CSIR UGC NET 2018 will be declared in the month of September/October 2018 and the fellowship for the candidates will be effective from January 1st, 2019.

Scheme of the CSIR UGC NET 2018 Test

The single MCQ Test for the CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test exam 2018 will be conducted on 17th June. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will start from 9 am to 12 noon and the second session wll start from 2 pm and end at 5 pm. The duration of each session will be 3 hours. The maximum marks for the Single MCQ Test for the CSIR UGC NET 2018 exam are 200 marks.

The test will have questions from Subjects – 1) Life Sciences, 2) Earth Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences 3) Physical Sciences 4) Chemical Sciences 5) Mathematical Sciences. The test booklet of the Exam will have 3 parts i.e Part A, Part B and Part C.

Part A of the question paper will be common to all subjects. The Part A of the CSIR UGC NET question paper will have questions from the Aptitude, Reasoning, Graphical Analysis, Numerical Ability, Series Formation and Puzzles. Thee Part B will have subject related questions. These questions will cover the entire topics. The part C will have high-value questions and these questions will test the Knowledge of Scientific concepts of the candidates.
