CSIR UGC NET 2018 Exam | Apply Online Before 26th March – Syllabus, Qualification & Exam Details

CSIR UGC NET 2018 Exam: Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has invited online application for the CSIR UGC NET exam 2018. All interested candidates who wanted to apply for the NET exam 2018 can apply online on the official website of CSIR. The online application process window is now open and candidates are advised to fill the CSIR NET 2018 exam application before the last date. CSIR UGC NET 2018 – Important Details

The starting date for the application of CSIR NET 2018 exam for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship began on 5th March 2018. The online application window is now open but only a few days are a left for the application. The last date to apply online is 26th March 2018. So if you had not applied for the CSIR UGC NET 2018 exam yet then apply soon because the last date is coming near. The CSIR UGC NET 2018 exam date is July 08, 2018. Admit cards will be released in the first week of June.

CSIR UGC NET 2018 – Syllabus, Qualifications & Exam Details

The quest paper of CSIR UGC NET 2018 exam will be divided into three sections. The sections will be A, B and C. These sections will be as per the syllabus and scheme of the exam. The first part i.e Part A will be common to all subjects. This section will have questions fro General Aptitude, Reasoning, Graphical Analysis and Numerical Ability.

The second part i.e Part B will contain subject related questions. These questions will cover the topics of the syllabus. The third part i.e Part C will consist of higher value questions. These questions will be in analytical in nature. The sample MCQ question paper of CSIR 2018 exam can be checked on the official website of CSIR i.e www.csirhrdg.res.in. From June 2017, the exam scheme for Chemical Sciences has been revised and the model sample paper is available on the website.

Marking Scheme – There will be negative marking for each wrong answer If a question is found wrong then the benefits of the marks will only be given to all those candidates who have attempted the question.

Exam Centres – There are total 27 examination centres for the CSIR 2018 NET exam. The centres are as follows – Bangalore, Bhavnagar, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guntur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Jorhat, Karaikudi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pilani, Pune, Raipur, Roorkee, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur, Varanasi.

CSIR UGC NET 2018 – Application Process

Candidates can apply online on the official website of CSIR. First of all read the official notification carefully before applying online. Candidates must write their name, father/mother name correctly as per the matriculation certificate. After filling all details and information candidates will have to pay the examination fee. After the submission of online application form, an application number will be generated automatically and candidates are advised to save that for future.

For the candidates belonging to General category, the application fee or the CSIR UGC NET 2018 exam is Rs.1000. For the OBC category candidates the application fee is Rs.500 and for the SC/ST category candidates, the application fee is Rs.250. Check here for More Details
