CSIR UGC NET December 2018 Exam Application Process Closed | Know The Next Step

CSIR UGC NET: Council of Scientific Industrial and Research Institute (CSIR) has closed the application form filling process for the CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018 (December). The application process was closed on 17th October 2018. The link is now deactivated to apply online for the exam and candidates won’t be able to apply online for the exam. Here are the details.

CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018 – Admit Cards & Exam Dates

The Council of Scientific Industrial and Research Institute (CSIR) will conduct the NET Exam for the JRF and Lectureship in the month of December. The tentative exam date for the CSIR UGC NET Exam is 16th December 2018. However, the candidates can expect the admit cards to be released in the first week of December. Once the admit card will be available, candidates can download the same form the official website.

CSIR UGC NET Exam Details

The Council of Scientific Industrial and Research Institute started the process of submission of application form for the NET December 2018 exam in the last week of September. The last date to fill the exam application form was 15th October but it got extended to 17th October 2018.

The application fee for the exam was Rs 1000 for the General Category candidates, for OBC category candidates, the application fee was Rs 500 and Rs 250 for the SC/ST/PH category. CSIR conducts the UGC NET Exam for the JRF and LS in various subjects. For the JRF post, the maximum age limit is 28 years and for the LS, there is no maximum age limit.

As said above the CSIR will conduct the UGC NET Exam 2018 in the month of December. The exam will be conducted in five subjects on a same day in two sessions. The first session will be from 9 am to 12 noon while the afternoon session will be form 2 pm to 5 pm. In the first session, the exam from the subjects Life Sciences and Physical Sciences will be conducted and in the noon session, the exam for the Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences will be conducted. The candidates who have applied for the exam are advised to visit the website regularly for any new update.
