CSIR UGC NET December 2018 Exam Details

CSIR conducts the NET Exam for the JRF and Lectureship. For the JRF post, the maximum age limit is 28 years. There is an upper age relaxation of 5 years for the SC/ST categories and 3 years for the OBC category.  No upper age relaxation for the Lectureship post.

Subject For CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018: The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the UGC NET Exam twice in a year. The first exam of this year was held in June and now the second exam will be held in December month. The test will question from the subjects – Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences.

There will only be a single MCQ based test which is scheduled to held on 16th December 2018. The exam of CSIR UGC NET will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will be from 9 Am to 12 noon and in this session, test from subjects Life Sciences and Physical Sciences will be conducted. In the afternoon session test of Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.

CSIR UGC NET Syllabus of Test

The question paper of the CSIR UGC NET exam will have three parts i.e Part A, B, and C. These parts will be according to the syllabus and scheme of examination. The Part A of the question paper of the CSIR UGC NET Exam will be common to all the subjects, Part B will have subject related MCQ.

The part 2 questions will be generally covering the topics of the given syllabus. The third and the last part i.e part C of the question paper will have higher value questions. These questions will test the scientific knowledge of the candidates. CSIR UGC NET December 2018 Infomation Bulletin
