CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018 Last Date 26th March
The online application process started on 5th March and the last date to apply online is 26th March. So if you haven’t applied for the UGC NET exam then hurry up and apply online. The last date to complete form is 26th March. For the exam center change the last date to submit hard copy is 19th April. The admit card for the CSIR NET exam will be released in the first week of June 2018. The CSIR NET 2018 exam date is 17th June 2018.
CSIR NET 2018 Exam – Date of Test & Scheme
The subject wise schedule of the CSIR NET examination will be notified later on. The date of the CSIR NET single paper MCQ based test is 17th June. The question paper of CSIR NET exam will comprise of five subjects 1) Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences 2) Life Sciences 3) Mathematical Sciences 4) Chemical Sciences 5) Physical Sciences. The paper will carry total 200 marks and the CSIR NET exam will be held in two sessions. The morning Session will start at 9 am and the afternoon session will start at 2 pm.
Syllabus of Test – The exam test booklet will be divided into three parts – Part A, Part B and Part C. These parts will consist of questions as per syllabus. The Part A of the CSIR UGC NET will consist questions from General Aptitude, Reasoning, Graphical Analysis and Numerical Ability. This section will be common to all subjects. Part B of the question paper will comprise of subject related questions and Part C will have questions based on scientific concepts.
CSIR NET 2018 Exam – Other Important Details
The online application fee for the General Category candidates is Rs.1000. Candidates who belong to OBC category will have to submit Rs.500 as application fee and for SC/ST/PH category the application fee is Rs.250.
