CSIR UGC NET Exam 2019 For JRF & Lectureship: Official Notification Released & Application Form Filling Process Begins at csirhrdg.res.in

CSIR UGC NET Exam 2019: Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has released the official notification for the Joint CSIR UGC NET Exam for JRF and LS on the official website. All the candidates who are preparing for the CSIR UGC NET exam June 2019 can check the notification on the official website and then apply for the same if eligible. The procedure for filling the application form has started online. Here are the details.

CSIR UGC NET Exam 2019 – Important Dates & Application Fee

Dates: The application form filling process for the Joint CSIR UGC Test for JRF & NET June 2019 has started on the official website on 25th February 2019 and candidates can now fill the application form. The last date to fill the application form for the CSIR NET Exam is 18th March 2019. The CSIR will release the admit cards for the exam in June and the exam will be held on 16th June 2019

Application Fee: The candidates who belong to the General Category will have to pay the application fee of Rs 1000 for the CSIR NET Exam for JRF and LS. The candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes NCL will have to pay Rs 500 as application fee. For the candidates of SC/ST/PWD. the application fee for the exam is 250. The candidates applying for the exam will have to pay the application fee via online mode i.e Credit Card, Net Banking or Debit Card.

CSIR UGC NET Exam 2019 – Other Details

For the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), the maximum age limit to apply is 28 years while for the Lectureship (LS), there is no upper age limit. The age relaxation for the OBC category candidates is 3 years and for the SC/ST/PH and female candidates, age relaxation is 5 years.

CSIR will conduct the examination on 16th June 2019. The exam will be held in the morning and afternoon session. In the morning session, the exam of subjects Life Sciences & Physical Sciences will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon. In the afternoon session from 2 pm to 5 pm, the exam for the Chemical, Mathematical, Earth, Atmospheric, Planetary, and Ocean Sciences will be conducted.
