CSIR UGC NET Exam December 2018: Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) will release the admit cards for the CSIR UGC NET Exam December 2018 in the first week of December. The exam is scheduled to be held in December and the admit cards for the exam will also release in December. To recall, the CSIR started the process of filling the application form in the month of September and the same was closed in October.
CSIR UGC NET Exam Date and Admit Card Release Date
The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research started the process of filling the application form on 25th September 2018. The application process was closed in October. As per the official notification of CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018, the exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) is tentatively scheduled to be held on 16th December. This means that the CSIR will release the admit card for exam 7 to 8 days prior to the exam date. The candidates can download the admit cards from the official website once it will be uploaded.
CSIR UGC NET Exam For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS)
CSIR conducts the Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS). The test is conducted for determining the eligibility of candidates for the appointment as Lectureship and award for Junior Research Fellowship. The exam will be held on 16th December in two sessions.
On 16th December, the first session will begin at 9 am and end at 12 noon. In the morning session the test for the subject Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. In the afternoon session the exam for the subject Chemical Sciences, Ocean & Planetary Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences will be conducted. The timings for the second session i.e afternoon session is at 2 pm and the same will end at 5 pm.
The CSIR will conduct the UGC NET Exam December 2018 in total 27 centres across India. The maximum age limit for the JRF NET Exam is 28 years and for the SC/ST/PWD candidates, the maximum age limit is 33 years. For the OBC Category candidates, the age limit is 31 years. For the Lectureship, there is no age limit.
