CSIR UGC NET: Last month i.e in September, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research released the official notification for the CSIR UGC NET Exam for JRF and LS and invited applications from candidates for the same. The application process has started and candidates who are willing to apply can fill the application form online on the official website.
Before applying online for the CSIR UGC NET Exam December 2018, candidates are advised to check the official notification and eligibility in it. CSIR conducts the NET exam for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Lectureship (LS). Here are the details regarding the scheme of Test.
CSIR UGC NET Exam December 2018 for JRF & LS – Scheme Of Test
Subjects included in the CSIR UGC NET Exam are Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences. The test will be held in all above-mentioned subjects. The exam is tentatively scheduled to held on 16th December 2018.
Talking about the scheme of the test, there will be two sessions for the exam. The first session of CSIR NET December 2018 exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and the second session will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. In the morning session test from subjects Physical Sciences and Life Sciences will be held and in the afternoon session, the test of subjects Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences and Mathematical Sciences will be held.
The question paper of the CSIR UGC NET Exam will have 3 parts i.e Part A, B, and C. Part A will be common to all subjects and questions in this part will be from logical reasoning, analytical and numerical ability, puzzles, series formation, general aptitude, and quantitative comprehension.
Part B of the UGC NET Exam conducted by CSIR will have subject related to MCQ’s. These questions cover the topic in the syllabus. Part C of the question paper of CSIR NET Exam December 2018 will have higher value questions and these questions will test the scientific knowledge of the candidates.
CSIR UGC NET December 2018 – Last Date To Apply
The application form filling process for the National Eligibility Test conducted by CSIR started on 25th September. The last date to fill the application form is 15th October. Candidates are advised to complete their application process on or before the last date.
