CTET 2018:The application process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test has already begun on the official website that is www.ctet.nic.in. All the candidates who have yet not filled for the exam, should visit the official website and file the form before the last date comes near. The paper will be held separately for the teachers who wish to apply for the primary classes that are Class 1-5 and for the secondary classes that are Classes 6-8.
The CBSE CTET 2018 Exam date is yet not finalised but an official update regarding the same shall be released soon. Currently, an official notification containing all the important details of the CBSE CTET 2018 Exam have been released on the official website. The eligible and interested candidates are advised to go through the same.
Exam Pattern Of CTET 2018
The CTET 2018 Exam (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) will be conducted in two parts that are Paper I and II. For the candidates who wish to take the exam of the primary stage only, need to appear for Paper I which is for Classes I to V. The CTET 2018 Paper I will be conducted in a time span of two and a half hours. The exam will have subjects to be taken up like Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages I and II, Environmental Studies as well as Mathematics.
In all, there will be 150 MCQ questions of one mark each making it up to a total of 150 marks. Out of these 150, 30 each will be from the child development and pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics as well as environmental studies.

Out of the 30 questions in CTET Paper, 15 belong to child development which include topics like concept and principles of development for children and the relationship of the same with learning. Language and thought, influence of the heredity as well as the environment and much more. 5 will be belonging to the concept of the inclusive education as well as understanding the children who have special needs and 10 belong to learning and pedagogy. Both the languages have 30 questions each out of which, 15 questions each belong to the language comprehension and the rest belong to the pedagogy of the language development.
In the 30 questions of the mathematics section in CTET paper 2018, 15 will be belonging to topics like geometry, shapes, numbers, addition, subtraction etc. and the rest 15 will be revolving around the pedagogy issues. For environmental studies as well, 15 questions will be related to topics like family and friends, food, shelter, water, travel and much more. Rest 15 will be involving the pedagogy issues related to the concept and scope, significance as well as the learning principles of EVS and a lot more.
