CTET 2018 Exam Syllabus: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 is soon to be held for the recruitment of teachers for both the primary as well as the secondary teachers. All the ones who are interested in giving the CBSE CTET 2018 Exam, should have a look at the official notification which is available on the official website that is www.ctet.nic.in.
The date of conducting the CBSE CTET 2018 Exam has been postponed tentatively and the official date is yet to be announced. The interested candidates to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test should do it online with the help of the official website only.
CBSE CTET 2018 | Exam Format
The CTET 2018 Exam will be conducted separately for the primary as well as the secondary classes. Paper II will be for the recruitment of teachers for Class VI to VIII. The exam will be of two and a half hours and will have 150 MCQ questions of 1 mark each. The paper will have compulsory subjects to be taken like child development and pedagogy as well as Languages I and II. The mathematics and science teachers have to take the maths and science and teachers for social studies/social science have to take that exam. The languages and child development will have 30 MCQs and maths, science and social science will have 60 MCQs each.
Out of the 30 MCQ questions in Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper in Child development and pedagogy, 15 will be related to the concept and principles of development of children, child-centred and progressive education, multi-dimensional intelligence etc. 5 questions will be related to addressing the learners from different background and addressing the ones with learning difficulties, especially abled learners. Rest 10 will be from the basic processes of teaching as well as learning, cognition, emotions, motivation and learning.
Exam Syllabus For CTET 2018 Exam (Class VI to VIII)
The language I and II of the CTET questions paper will have 30 questions each which are further divided into 15 questions each from language comprehension as well as the pedagogy of language development containing learning, principles of language teaching etc respectively. Mathematics will have topics like number system, algebra, mensuration, geometry, data handling and pedagogy issues including community and language of mathematics, evaluation, remedial teaching and much more.
Science has topics like food and material along with the world of the living, natural phenomena and resources. Pedagogy issues are a part as well. Topics from history, geography, social and political life, as well as pedagogy issues, form a part of social science.
