CTET 2019 (July): More Details Regarding the Eligibility Criteria of the Candidates | Check Here

CTET 2019: CBSE has been ongoing with the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) application process for July session 2019. Along with the application process, CBSE has also mentioned the detailed eligibility criteria for the CTET 2019 candidates. Although interested candidates only have time till 5th March 2019 to apply for the CTET July session.

In the year 2018, CBSE held the CTET exam with a delay, as it was conducted in the month of December instead of September. Whereas it has been out that in 2019, CBSE will conduct the CTET exam twice for the candidates. Check more details regarding the same below.

CTET July 2019: Here are the eligibility details for Candidates

CBSE in 2018 only made amendment in the eligibility criteria for the candidates applying for Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET). In 2019 as well, CBSE has kept the amendment made in the year 2018. As per the same, B.Ed candidates can now appear for the CTET Paper 1 for the year 2019. Although the detailed eligibility criteria for CTET 2019 has been mentioned on the official notification for both Paper 1 and II.

Further, candidates belonging to SC/ST have relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum education qualification will be there for the CTET 2019. Also, a candidate having D.Ed in Special Education has to undergo training after the appointment. Any candidate pursuing any teacher education recognised by NCTE or RCI shall be eligible for CTET 2019.

Important Dates to be remembered for CTET 2019 (July Session)

Further as far as the important dates for the CBSE Central Teachers Eligibility Test is concerned for the year 2019, the application process has started on 5 February and will end by 5 March 2019. Whereas candidates can pay the online application fee for the CTET exam 2019 till 8 March 2019. Further, as per the schedule, CBSE will conduct the Central Teachers Eligibility Test in various centres on 7 July 2019.

Whereas the admit cards for the CTET July session 2019 will be available for download 10 days prior to the scheduled exam date.
