Now You Can Fly from Chandigarh Airport to Lucknow & Dehradun Daily

Ever since Chandigarh has got its international airport at Mohali, the denizens are raining with many new domestic and international flight services almost every month. All thanks to the Airport Authority of India and to the aviation ministry, who are in the process of making Chandigarh and the tricity accessible to most part of India and abroad.

The news of adding daily flight services from Chandigarh to Lucknow and Dehradun has come as a treat to many who are frequently commuting to these cities and now have an alternative to travel other than train or by road.

Daily flight timings from Chandigarh to Lucknow & Dehradun 

Jet Airways has agreed to begin its flight operations between Chandigarh to Lucknow and Chandigarh to Dehradun from July 17. These two new flights will take off from Chandigarh International Airport in Mohali and will connect the capitals of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand via Delhi. The Jet Airways will run a small 67 seater aircraft on these two routes and will focus on strengthening the air network between t ooohese two cities from Chandigarh. The newly added flights between Chandigarh- Lucknow and Chandigarh- Dehradun will take approximately three hours time from one side to reach the destination. 

The flight from Chandigarh will take off at 10:55 am and will reach Chaudhary Charan Singh Aiport, Lucknow at around 2:05 pm including a layover of 40 minutes at Delhi airport. The same flight will return to Chandigarh, starting off at 5:50 pm and will reach at 9:10 pm via Delhi. The flight timings for Chandigarh- Dehradun route will take off from 3:15 pm and will reach  Jolly Grant Airport at 6:05 pm.

Flight fares between Chandigarh Lucknow & Dehradun

Jet Airways will run the flights daily from Chandigarh on these two routes to Dehradun and Lucknow. The air fares for flights between Chandigarh to Lucknow and Chandigarh to Dehradun will be between Rs 3,500 and Rs 5,000 inclusive of meals.

Well, the decision to kick off flight services between Chandigarh to Dehradun and Lucknow will prove to be a wise one as many travelers from far off places will now easily commute between the city beautiful and the state capitals of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
