Dangal’s China Box Office Collection Sets Record With 100 Million

Aamir Khan’s Dangal has crossed $100 million in China in its third week of playing on the oriental box office. Being a Non-Hollywood film Dangal has set a record in China to gross huge sum of money worldwide.

Dangal is playing in around 9,000 cinema houses in China and has become the latest favourite Bollywood film of the Chinese audience. Dangal has elements that are common to Chinese culture and that is why the people of China have loved the movie so much.

Dangal’s Huge Success In China

Released by the name Shuai Jiao Baba which means Let’s Wrestle Dad, Dangal was successfully opened at the Beijing Film Festival in China this year.

Dangal collected almost $11.6 million(73 crores) on third Sunday of its release in China grossing a grand total of $112.55 million (726.32 crores). Making a total of Rs 1470.66 crores worldwide.

Upon his film Dangal’s huge success Aamir Khan overwhelmingly commented on social media that he is greatly thankful to the Chinese audience for liking his film on such a huge scale, irrespective of the language or country barriers.

Dangal is going to give the widely successful movie Bahubali 2-The Conclusion a tough run on the worldwide collection front.

Aamir Khan’s Dangal will soon cross the 1500 crore mark soon at the box office.

Dangal The Most Successful Biopic 

Based on the true life of Haryanvi wrestler Dangal features Mahavir Singh Phogat played by Aamir Khan and his daughters Geeta Phogat played by Sana Shaik and Babita Kumari acted by Sanya Malhotra, who are International level freestyle wrestlers. And Sakshi Tanwar has played the part of Mahavir Phogat’s wife in the film.

Since its national release Dangal has won hearts of Indians extensively by promoting the much famous slogan coined by our PM Narendra Modi “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao“. The campaign aims at promoting female education and opposing the female infanticide.

Moreover, Dangal declared itself tax-free upon its release in six Indian states namely Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi.
