Datsun Redi-Go Gold Edition Launched with three different colours!

Datsun Redi-go has launched its gold edition car for the festive season in India. Major car manufacturers have started launching their automobiles into the market for this festive season. Datsun is no less. With the launch of Datsun Redi-Go Gold Edition into the entry-level hatchback segment, Datsun has made a comeback in the automobile industry.

The car will drive down to all the Nissan and Datsun dealerships within a week, said a Datsun company spokesperson. The giant car-maker has promised more power, style and convenience with its new version of the hatchback segment. The new variant of Datsun Redi-GO – Gold promises accessible price, peppy driving performance and a refreshing exterior which reinforces Datsun’s commitment to perfection.

Datsun has sold over 90,000 cars now in India after its powerful comeback in the year 2014, and is now looking to capture over 5% market share of the country’s car market in the next 5 years. According to a statement released by Jerome Saigot, the VP of the Datsun India, Datsun Redi-GO Gold Edition version will serve as the core car model for its big market in India.

Datsun Redi-Go Gold – Price and Specifications

The car with one-litre engine, priced at Rs. 3.69 Lakhs (ex-showroom) as the starting price. The price of the newly launched variant – Datsun Redi-Go Gold is priced slightly less than the top-notch S 1.0 L version of the Passenger Vehicle segment, which is priced at 3.72 Lakh (ex-showroom). The Gold Edition of the Redi-GO will have gold themed graphics on the hood, roof and doors, gold inserts on grille and wheel covers and will be available in three colours for the customers – White, Silver and Bronze Grey.

Datsun Redi-Go Gold Edition car comes with rear parking sensors, offers app-controlled ambient lighting and has a chrome boot-lid garnish. Mechanically, it remains unaltered and offers the same 1.0-litre motor that also powers its sibling, the Renault Kwid.
