The love tale of Raj and Simran that began in the year 1995 is still creating waves. Since then, couples take on the tag of the most admired on-screen characters, which was portrayed by Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and multi-talented Kajol through their magnetic performances. Commemorating 23 years of the film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, King Khan and Mrs Devgn took to the micro blogging site, Twitter to express thanks to their buffs.

In her special message, Kajol also thanked her buffs who have continuously been showering their love on Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge from last 1200 weeks. The counting is still going on! She said that the DDLJ was, DDLJ is and will always be a very special movie for all of them. On his special note, King Khan wrote that a special journey that commenced 23 years back bangs on even today. He said that the love of buffs has kept Raj & Simran’s tale alive on the silver screen for over 1200 weeks at the city’s iconic theatre, Maratha Mandir.
