Delhi Metro department is going to upgrade the metro lines to connect Botanical Garden to Kalkaji. The new Delhi Metro Magenta line is going to begin on 25th December 2017. The decision of upgrading the metro lines to connect the botanical garden to Kalkaji is taken to help reduce the problem of traffic congestion in the city. This complete new metro line is planned to operate between the Botanical Garden-Janakpuri West. The plan was approved last month by the Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety (CMRS).
The New Delhi Metro Magenta Line to Begin on 25th December 2017
After the approval from the metro rail safety commissioner, finally, the new Metro Magenta line is going to begin on 25th December 2017. This new line is organized to connect the Delhi’s Botanical Garden with the Janakpuri West area in the city. The problem of traffic is rising day-by-day in the capital city of India and this new Metro line will help reduce the traffic on road.
There are many interesting features that are going to be introduced in this new metro line in Delhi. Metro Magenta Line will help connect the Botanical garden, Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh, Kalindi Kunj, Ohla Vihar, Sukhdev Vihar, Jamia Milia Islamia, Kalkaji Mandir, and Okhla NSIC, the passengers will also experience the fastest journey between these areas.
Earlier if one had to cross the 10 stations from Botanical Garden to reach Mandi house. In total it took an hour to make this journey by metro and this new 12.64 Km, Metro Magenta line will help reduce the journey time to 19 minutes. This new Metro line is scheduled to be inaugurated on 25th December by Mr. Narendra Modi an is going to specifically benefit students of Jamia Milia Islamia and Amity University.
Metro Magenta Line to Be Inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi
After the approval to construct the metro line between the Botanical Garden and Kalkaji Mandir crossing other prominent 8 stations from the commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS), finally the work has been completed and on 25th December PM Modi will inaugurate the Metro Magenta Line in Delhi. This is one of the prominent steps taken to reduce the problem of increasing traffic on roads of Delhi.
