The English Honours course is followed by courses like the Political Science Honours as well as the Economics Honours.
By now, a number of 1,97,305 students had filled the online application for admissions in the University of Delhi. Out of the total, 52,254 applications have solely been received for the English Honours Courses which is being offered by 46 colleges under the Delhi University. The course of Political Honours Course has received a number of 40,509 applications followed by the Economics Honours Course which has got a number of 40,492 applications and is being offered by 38 colleges affiliated to the University.

After receiving so many applications for specific courses, the officials feel that the students should try and pursue those courses which the students are eager on studying rather than the ones in which they will sure an admission based on their marks easily. The Delhi University will be releasing the first cut-off list By June 19, 2018 on the basis of which, the admission procedure will be held till June 21, 2018.
For the academic session beginning from 2018, the Delhi University is known to roll out as many as 5 cut-off lists and conduct centralised counselling admission procedure for the seats which are left in the University of Delhi
undergraduate programmes.
