Delhi University (DU) declared the first cut off list for the admission 2017-18 session yesterday. After such a huge first cut off list for session 2017-18, students seeking admission in DU will have to wait for the second cut-off list that is expected to be out on 1st July. SGTB Khalsa College sets the record with 99.66% of cut off for B.Sc (Electronics) and 99% for B.A (Political Science).
The race is on for the DU admission in various colleges for different courses for the session 2017-18. And the competition is going to be tough for the students, likewise first cut off the list of DU the second cut off list will also be high on the expectation of students seeking admission in Delhi University for the year 2017.
Delhi University UG First Cut Off List for 2017-18 Admission
Although there has been a relief for the students as the DU cut off list 2017 has been low as compared to 2016. Seeing of the last year’s cut off by Delhi University, it was expected that the 2017 cut off of DU will go to 100%. Many Colleges under DU has cut short their cut off percentage from the last year, whereas others maintained the same cut off as earlier.
- Miranda House offered 97.27 cut off percentage for BA (Economics)
- Whereas Ramjas and Hansraj College under DU has the cut off of 97.5% for the admission in the courses B.Com (Hons) for the year 2017.
- Lady Shri Ram College has lower down its cut off 2017 for both BA and BCom programmes as compared to last year.
- SRCC being one of the top colleges of Delhi University for the highest cut off also dropped the cut off percentage for the admission in the year 2017.
- Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, and Deen Dayal College have also lowered down the cut off from last year to pull strong candidates.
Last year Ramjas College (DU) made headlines because of its highest cut-off of 99.25% for its B.Com (Hons). But in 2017, SGTB Khalsa College pulled the eye of students with the cut-off of 99.66% for the B.Sc (Electronics) and 99% for the course of BA (Pol. Science).
DU Second Cut off list 2017-18
Delhi University pulled as many as 2.2 Lakh applications for the fulfilment of 56,000 seats in different colleges in Commerce, Science and Arts. After the first cut off list 2017 of DU, the counselling and admission acceptance have been started from 24 June that will end on 28 June 2017. Whereas the second cut off list 2017 for the admission purpose in DU will be announced on 1st July 2017. And the second document verification and admission procedure will be carried out from 1st to 4th July 2017.
