Delhi University (DU) has started with the Admission procedure for UG courses in the session 2017-18 and the entrance test will be conducted on 2nd July 2017. After the declaration of its first cut off list for various courses in different colleges, DU is all set to organise the entrance exam 2017 for its professional UG courses. Students seeking admission in any of the Professional UG Courses from Delhi University will have to clear 2017 entrance exam.
Although Delhi University takes admission on the merit basis, but for the Professional UG Courses, DU conducts entrance exam and then further the admission process has been carried out. For the session 2017-18, DU has been scheduled the entrance exam of 2nd July 2017.

Delhi University has registered as many as 73000 for the entrance test based UG Courses, out of which 38000 candidates have also deposited the fee for the session 2017-18. DU will be carrying out the entrance test for the admission 2017 on July 2 in 18 different cities of India.

DU received applications of 39586 male and 34246 female candidates for the entrance based test 2017 UG Courses. Even Delhi University also got 41 applications under the transgender category. And the maximum number 16000 applications have been registered for the course of BBA/BMS/BEE for the session 2017-18 in DU.
Highlights & Eligibility of DU Entrance Exam 2017
Registration for Delhi University Professional UG Course entrance test begins on 16 June and ended up on 25 June 2017. The online Entrance test will be conducted for the 2017 admission in DU professional courses. Admit card for the online entrance exam 2017 of DU have been uploaded on the Delhi University website.
- BE|ED Course has a total of 400 seats, each college of DU (Miranda House, Lady Shri Ram, Gargi, Mata Sundri & so on) has 50 seats for the same course.
- 50% seats have reserved for Christian students in DU.
- 2 hours of entrance test will have standard 10 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) for Hindi/English, Maths, Social Science and Science.
- Out of 100 question, for each correct answer, 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answers.
Eligibility criteria for DU BE|ED Course 2017- Student have to clear Class 12 exam with atleast 50% marks and 50% aggregate in the DU entrance test for the admission for session 2017-18.
