DRDO Recruitment 2018 – Important Dates
As of now only the official notification for the DRDO Recruitment 2018 is released. The online application process of filling the application process will begin from 4th August. The last date to fill the application form for the Defence Research & Development Organisation Recruitment 2018 is 29th August. Candidates are advised to fill the application form on or before the last date.
The last date to pay the application fee is 29th August. The admit cards for the Defence Research & Development Organisation recruitment exam 2018 will be out 2 weeks prior to the examination date. The admit card for the exam can be downloaded from the official website. Admit cards will not be sent by post. At the time of examination, it is necessary to carry one photo ID along with the admit card (Id mentioned at the time of filling the application form).
DRDO Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
Application Fee: The application fee for the DRDO Recruitment application fee is Rs.100 for the General Category candidates and the OBC Category candidates. There is no application fee for the SC/ST/PWD/ESM Category candidates. The candidates can pay the application fee via credit card, debit card or by net banking.
Vacancies: As per the official notification of the Defence Research & Development Organisation Recruitment 2018, there are total 494 post vacancies. These vacancies are for the Technical Assistant. In the Agriculture Department, there are 4 vacancies, 6 vacancies in Automobile Engineering, 3 vacancies in the Botany department, 13 vacancies in the Chemical Engineering, 24 vacancies in the Chemistry Department.
There are total 4 vacancies in the Civil Engineering Department. 79 vacancies in the Computer Science Departments, 16 vacancies in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, 35 posts in the Electrical Engineering, 7 posts in the Electronics & Instrumentation, 100 vacancies in the Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering, 3 posts in the Geology department under the DRDO Recruitment 2018.
There are total 5 posts in the Instrumentation department, 11 posts in the Library Science, 8 posts in the Mathematics, 140 vacancies in the Mechanical Engineering, 8 vacancies in Metallurgy, 2 in the Photography department, 16 vacancies in Physics, 5 posts in Psychology and 5 posts in Zoology department.
