Delhi University Admissions in 2017 with the release of admission list through ECA quota is taking students in its stride like anything. With its soaring high cut-off rate rising every year along with the admission intake via ‘Extra Curricular Activity’ quota to acknowledge the talent and extracurricular activities of students simply nullify each others’ effect and the shadow it casts over the DU Admission process in 2017.
The merit list of approximately 1100 students has been released via ECA quota for admission into prestigious Delhi University in the academic session commencing from 2017 this year recently, followed by the schedule adopted for the same.
DU Admissions 2017 : ECA Quota List Released
Who could ever think that your childs’ prodigy could fetch him admission into the esteemed institutions of Delhi University in 2017 which reserves 5% seats for the well-deserved candidates through the unique quota which is Extra Curricular Activity i.e. ECA quota.
Recently releasing a merit list of 1100 shortlisted candidates out of 20,000 registered, who had applied via the ECA quota by registering them for DU admissions 2017, DU has around 900 vacant reserved seats in its 12 colleges via the same. The Admission process in Delhi University shall start from tomorrow i.e, July 11,2017 (Tuesday) onwards.
DU Admissions 2017 Schedule : Check Important Dates
The schedule and important dates for DU Admissions 2017 has been released and students can check the same below :
- Release Date of Merit List of Shortlisted Candidates : July 8, 2017
- Registration & Document Verification, 1st cycle of admission : July 11 – July 13, 2017
- Notification release by respective Colleges for eligible candidates : July 14. 2017
- Selected candidates to complete admission formalities : July 15- July 17, 2017
- Registration & Document Verification, 2nd cycle of admission : July 18 – July 20, 2017
- Notification release by respective Colleges for eligible candidates : July 21. 2017
- Selected candidates to complete admission formalities : July 22- July 24, 2017
- Third and Fourth Cycles to have the same schedule in the above mentioned order
- Registration & Document Verification, 3rd cycle : July 25 – July 26, 2017
- Notification release by respective Colleges for eligible candidates : July 27. 2017
- Selected candidates to complete admission formalities : July 28- July 29, 2017
- Registration & Document Verification, 4th admission cycle : July 31 – Aug 1, 2017
- Notification release by respective Colleges for eligible candidates : Aug 2, 2017
- Selected candidates to complete admission formalities : Aug 3- Aug 4, 2017
- Registration & Document Verification, 5th admission cycle : Aug 5 – Aug 7, 2017
- Notification release by respective Colleges for eligible candidates : Aug 8, 2017
- Selected candidates to complete admission formalities : Aug 9- Aug 10, 2017
Candidates who are seeking admissions in DU in 2017 via the ECA quota have to report to their respective individual colleges in person to complete the formalities of admission and furthermore have to re-register them after every round in the case they want to get considered in different cycles of counselling for fetching admission in DU colleges in 2017.
